Angela + JP || Ocean City, Maryland + Ocean View, Delaware

Oh man, I am SO EXCITED to share this incredible wedding with you guys. Angela and JP got married in June in Ocean City, Maryland and celebrated this amazing union at the Bear Trap Dunes golf course just a ways up the road in Delaware. But before there was a wedding, there was a roasty, toasty, sticky, delicious beach bonfire night...

...and then a delicious rehearsal dinner at Harpoon Hanna's....

...and then it was the day - bright and breezy and absolutely beautiful!

Angela and JP put so much love in to planning this day, and there were so many perfect little details that were a total joy to capture. And, you know, when "glitter" is one of your wedding colors, I'm pretty much the happiest camper ever.

One of my favorite little things was having the wedding rings from four generations of ladies on Angela's side of the family on-hand - so cool!

There's also something to be said of shooting a wedding for a family you've known for many, many years. Intuitively, you know what details to look for - like Father Jennings stealing Angela for a quiet little blessing in the usher's room off the hall...

...or knowing exactly how to bring the waterworks for a family first-look. (Props to the awesome staff at Salon 26 for keeping the make-up tear proof!)

And then just when all the emotions get amped allllllll the way up, it's time to hit the aisle.

To say JP is a musical dude is....a huge understatement. He lives, breathes, works, thinks music. He was in charge of getting the beautiful French Horn hombres to play, and I'm sorry to say that you can't hear how much life and love those instruments added to their wedding mass. Total cherry on top!

In to the Jeep, and off the to the reception - time to p.a.r.t.y.!

This was about as OCMD Summer representative as you can get. Not only were the wedding favors Fischer's popcorn and saltwater taffy from the Candy Kitchen, but Angela's aunt made this AMAZINGHOLYCRAPWHOA cake – check out the tiny bride and groom cans, and yes, that is a weensie little can of Old Bay.

Wait, did y'all really think you'd get out of this blog without more joyful tears? Nah. Not even close.

Seriously - can't help but love that upwelling of feelings! And it's all fun and games when you're the one bringing on the tears, until your brand spankin' new husband pulls out a guitar and sings you a mashup of the two songs he used to propose to you. (Told ya JP is freakin' musical!)

And then it's literally fun and games (and more dancing!) starting with the shoe game. I do believe the question here was "who's family is crazier?"...

HUGE congratulations to these two awesome families - so glad to have been a part of this super fun day. -MEJ
