I love, love, love me a travel wedding, which I've so lucked out this year as far as getting out and about on. Exploring new locations with couples is such a blast, and Lauren and Steve picked such an amazing spot off of Lake Anna.
The weather was constantly trying to celebrate with us on this weekend, and definitely kept everyone on their toes. For the stress it added on, it did make for some spectacular photos - like this one nabbed on the way to the rehersal dinner.
Rain was pitter-pattering down on the morning of the wedding, but everyone was busy prepping for the day ahead - floral arrangements, cake decorating, hairstyling, drink prep - this was a dream-team crew!
The drizzle managed to keep at bay (mostly) for the ceremony, and we had gorgeous soft light from all those rain clouds.
Steve and his dad brewed multiple kegs for this shindig - and I can personally attest that they were freakin' delicious!
Those dramatic grey skies eventually turned in to a gorgeous golden hour that we took full advantage of. Big ups to these guys for tromping through a wheat field on their big day - total troopers.
Congratulations, Lauren and Steve! Thank you so much for having me be a part of your beautiful day. -MEJ
