I know, I know - I've been totally MIA (more on that later next week...) BUT it's New Year's Eve, and it's time to celebrate! If you're going out and getting down, power to you - if you're staying in, get in to this amazing wedding that Katie and Tiffany had. Not only was it one of the best parties ever, but it was a day overflowing with love and full of amazing little moments that had me constantly laughing and crying behind the camera.
We kicked things off with a sneaky little surprise for Katie - a boudoir brag book that Tiffany and I had put together. Reaction? Perfection.

Katie and Tiffany originally pitched the theme of a rockabilly shindig to me about a year ago, and I immediately got way overexcited - polka dots, bold red lips, suspenders, and an excuse to pretend like the entire day was a theme party. Plus, I'm a sucker for a good pair of Converses, and boy, did they deliver!

Did I mention my dad has a '55 Chevy Bel Air? Yeahhhh, that was kind of fun to use as a prop.
Next on the list of delightful little surprises is Katie's reaction in their first look. Yes, yes, Y-E-S!

And then we had a teeny tiny Power Ranger have the honor of giving Tiffany away under a beautiful blue sky.
Annnnd a ceremony full of giggles and tears and promises to touch each others' butts in old age.
Katie and Tiff walked down the aisle, and Katie immediately grabbed her guitar case to steal a little moment and sing a little song. Feels, y'all. All the feels.

On to the reception, where there were little love notes from Gram...

...speeches to split the sides...
...an expertly re-written and delivered version of Salt-N-Pepa's Shoop...
...tequila, because duh...
...and amazing jams from Hot Tub Limo (guest cameo by Katie!).
Oh, y'all - what. a. night! More pictures at the gallery link below - be sure to check 'em out. I hope everyone has a safe and stupendous celebration for New Year's Eve, and that 2018 brings all the joy and well-being, and then some! Love to all y'all - MEJ
