One of the many fabulous aspects of this job is getting to experience so many people at such a close level - and especially when it comes to wedding days; you can go from being almost a complete stranger to a whole group of people to giving out multiple rounds of hugs on your way home. This was *totally* the case with Jo and Tori, who decided to turn an annual backyard barbecue camp out in to their big day.
These two awesome ladies brought so many fun and unique aspects to the day - the entire shebang was a huge potluck (seriously, if y'all could scratch and sniff these pictures - so. much. barbecue!), Tori made their jewelry, they had fabulously talented friends in charge of makeup...
...Jo's mom made the bouquets, there were friends from very near (DMV, woo!) and very far (Germany, whoa!), the wedding vows were *whisper whisper whisper* "1....2....3....VOWS", and then these two babes were simultaneously jumped the broom and smashed glasses under the chupah - how's that for original!?
And then, you know, you can't really top two beautiful brides rocking leather jackets, either.Huge congratulations to Tori and Jo, I hope your marriage is as heart-felt, silly, and overflowing with supremely personal humor as your gorgeous wedding day! -MEJ
