Ohhh, what a special shoot! I photographed Sullivan when he was just a tiny thing last summer, and got to meet his baby brother Finn this go-round. The whole gang moved about a week after this beautiful evening, so it was a little bittersweet to document the last few days in this home that Brent and Emily have put so much love in to.
From the moment I met Sullivan, he had a big personality. That hasn't changed one bit, except to maybe be even bigger and bolder and more giggle-inducing. We got a little quality big-brother time while Finn was napping, taking part in the stick fetching/street giggling goodness that Sully loves so much.
Brent and Emily absolutely live it up (and so generally laugh it up) in whatever is going on - which, with Sully at this age with a new brother, consist of some serious meltdowns. Instead of feeling uncomfortable about these little moments, we all tried not to giggle too hard at this dude's alligator tears and fully embraced the mood.
Seriously. Look at that sassbasket! So...we put him in a basket - the same market basket we grabbed shots of him in last summer; that's one way to measure some growth!
And then it was Finn's turn to shine! His looooong legs and tiny toes stretched right on out of the basket.
We grabbed another group shot on the front steps of 1459 before we headed down to the park for a little more outdoor time together.
Even more testament to B&E's go with the flow-ness, a catapulting kiddo doesn't make them skip a bit. Coolest. Cucumbers. Ever!
Big congrats to these guys on their newest, sweetest addition! Thanks for all the giggles! -MEJ
