Summer in Maryland is some kind of hot. I'm really glad that, for whatever reason, most of my weddings tend to be in the shoulders of the summer. While I do sweat a lot in September and June running around to get my shots, I'm always thankful that most of my couples avoid July and August. Except this; I was SUPER glad to have a little part in Josh and Jenny's day - sweat and everything!
These two kept things sweet and simple; a first look at home and a very intimate ceremony afloat in the Bay followed by a crabfeast. If that doesn't just scream memorable Maryland marriage, I don't know what will.
After getting a little teary eyed behind the camera after Jenny surprised Josh with a photograph of a friend who would be able to make the wedding only in spirit, we swiftly turned to laughing at how impossible it is to constrain dogs (especially hunting pups) near water.
They still posed sweetly enough, though, and I just LOVELOVELOVE these shots of Jenny and the pooches.
Big congratulations, Josh and Jenny! -MEJ
