Erin and Robby wanted to hunt down the seemingly very elusive Spring for their baby bump session, which we did over two mini-session during Easter weekend.
Maybe it's just the cold-hot-cold-hot-cold-hot winter we had, but the deciduous trees seem shy to unfurl their foliage, while their flowering fruit counterparts were in full bloom.
We wandered through Adkin's Arboretum, laughing at the fact that we'd aimed for someplace that would boast Tidal Basin style cherry blossoms and instead found ourselves among very sparse trees. Still, we made the most of the location, and even found a few of the sweet white blossoms in our exploration.
Our second day of spot leant a little more of a spring flair, with forsythia and jonquils bursting in to bloom and throwing a nice pop of yellow in to the mix.
Erin and Robby were a total blast to work with, and despite what they assured me, complete naturals in front of the camera. Despite a distinct lack of sunshine, their laughter and playfulness really brought in a warm, spring spirit of it's own. Congrats to them on their upcoming little one! -MJ
