In any creative field, being a creature of habit isn't always a good thing. But sometimes it's pretty much the best - and it's especially awesome with the Swetz family. Seven years in a row we've gotten together to snap photos in their neighborhood (they were actually my first family portraits ever!), and it's always a total blast. I definitely get pretty sentimental with these guys, but my last blog post was a total sap-fest, so I'll spare y'all this time. Instead, I'll let Campbell, who is my favorite ham in front of the camera, take it away.
Besides cultivating her multiplication, reading, and ballet skills in the last year, she's also really worked on refining her pose striking technique. (I give her a 10/10!)
She's eager to step in to the role of a creative director, posing her parents exactly to her specifications and then rewarding them justly for their modeling skills.
Every shoot with these guys rounds out with a shot on their front steps, and I certainly do love getting to look back at all those little stops we've made there!
Thanks to the Swetzs for another amazing session, and another year on the books. You guys are the best!! -MEJ
